Children's International Wildlife Sanctuary

Logo Scholarship

June 1998 - Logo Designs from all over the world have been received by CIWS. Now comes the most difficult job: Which logo? CIWS hopes to have the judging completed by the end of June 1998. The chosen logo will be announced on this website at that time.

CIWS would like to thank each and every student that submitted a logo design and description. Remember that there is never a winner or loser. Every situation can be a win-win for all involved. Each student is a winner because they care about wildlife, natural resources, and the environment and were willing to participate.

A special THANK YOU to the dedicated teachers, parents, and organizations that promoted the CIWS Logo Competition. Many students that were not involved in the environment have now become involved. The children know they have an organization where their voice is heard and their wishes will be cared out.

After the July or August 1998 meeting of the Board of Directors, CIWS will have an announcement concerning all the students that entered.

March 1998 - For some time CIWS has been discussing what should be used for our logo. One of our volunteers had the idea of having the children design a logo for the organization. Through the generosity of this volunteer, CIWS is able to award a Logo Scholarship in the amount of One Thousand US Dollars (US $1000).

We have tried to keep the rules as simple as possible.
Only one entry per student, under separate cover.
Students outside North America may mail their entries together.
